Michael, a British national, has been accepted into three of the four medical schools in Greece that offer English-language programs. After careful consideration, he has chosen to pursue his medical studies in Larissa, starting in September.

Michael’s parents have been residing permanently in Singapore due to their professional commitments. Despite having multiple options for his education, he selected Larissa based on various factors that influenced his decision. When asked about his choice, he highlighted the warm and welcoming nature of the medical students he encountered upon his visit to the university.

“I took the city bus to visit the university and had the opportunity to meet students from the Medical School. They were all incredibly friendly, and I was deeply impressed by their hospitality. I received highly positive feedback from them regarding the university,” he stated.

Additionally, Michael expressed his admiration for Greece and its rich cultural heritage. He conveyed his desire not only to study medicine in the country but also to learn the Greek language. He had also heard positive remarks about the city of Larissa and its vibrant student life, which further reassured him of his decision.

His parents, like many international families, were primarily concerned about safety and security. However, after conducting their own research, they were pleased to find that Larissa is recognized as one of the safest cities in Greece. This factor contributed significantly to their confidence in Michael’s choice.

The city of Larissa extends a warm welcome to Michael and assures his family, who traveled all the way from Singapore, that his future is in safe hands. Like all students at the institution, he will find a supportive and secure academic environment in which to thrive.
