The University of Thessaly has extended the registration deadline for students with disabilities and/or special educational needs who wish to receive support from the Equal Access Unit.
Students can register until Friday, 13 November 2026.
The Equal Access Unit helps students with disabilities and/or special educational needs access university education and receive support throughout their studies.
If you are a student at the University of Thessaly and need additional support, you can register by following the steps below.
How to Register
Step 1: Complete the Online Registration Form here.
Step 2: Upload the Required Documents
Next, upload the following documents in the relevant section of the form:
- Official diagnostic document: A document from a public authority confirming your disability and/or special educational needs.
- Descriptive assessment report: A report describing your skills and individual support needs. These may include learning, cognitive, communication, social, or motor skills. You can request this report from the authority that issued your diagnostic document or from another public or private organization that assessed your needs.
Step 3: Book an Appointment
Once you have submitted your registration form, book an appointment with the Equal Access Unit.
During the appointment, the Unit’s staff will discuss and record your individual support needs.
You can choose between two appointment options:
- In person
- Online via Microsoft Teams
Important Deadline: 13 November 2026
You must complete both your registration and the assessment of your support needs by Friday, 13 November 2026.
Therefore, we encourage you to submit your application and book your appointment as early as possible.
